Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Manager has the opportunity to lead the construction of a top-tier team of talents who are making the best of Machine Learning to tackle real medical and biological issues.

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be at the heart of every team development (Corporate, Business, Tech & Product, R&D Lab) in every current and future Owkin offices, making sure they can identify and attract the best candidates on the market.

You’ll report to the Head of HR and work directly with Owkin's management team and every operational manager to lead and continuously improve our recruitment process.

In particular, you will:

  • Build the recruitment strategy, process and reporting with the Head of HR;
  • Support and coach Owkin Managers in their definition of job and candidate profiles;
  • Select and use the most relevant job boards and websites to publish our offers and source candidates;
  • Manage unsolicited applications and build talent pools for critical and recurring positions;
  • Build and manage the pool of headhunters, be Owkin interface with them;
  • Lead the interviews and candidate assessments with the Manager, coach and support them, help them to build efficient recruitment tests;
  • Manage the candidate relationship during the whole process and achieve an excellent candidate experience for the overall process;
  • Structure and develop a referral process;
  • Partner with current teams to explore any opportunity to join relevant communities and meet with potential future employees on the field;
  • Manage the online employer branding (WTTJ, LinkedIn, Jobteaser …), develop new initiatives to reach the best talents (videos, events, …) and develop campus management initiatives;
  • Pilot the onboarding with the Operations team;
  • Be responsible for compliance with the laws during the whole recruitment process, in particular non-discrimination rules and GDPR;

The job is located in our Paris-based R&D center.

Preferred Experience

  • Master’s degree, a specialization in HR is a plus.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in recruitment, in a AI / Tech environment and/or managing a large number of highly qualified positions.
  • Experience in one or several ATS, headhunting experience (LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus);
  • Knowledge of legal considerations in recruitment (including non-discrimination and GDPR);
  • Ability to manage a large number of recruitments in different teams and locations, excellent candidate communication, ability to pilot a pool of HH;
  • Ability to coach Managers to recruitment best practices, ability to challenge process or habits;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, listening good listening skills, assertiveness, customer orientation (internal and external), high level of ethics;
  • Highly organized, fun to work with, honest and transparent, excited to work hard in a dynamic, fast-paced environment ;
  • Passionate about the intersections of recruitment, healthcare and AI;
  • Excellent communicator, fluent in English and French.
  • Ready to travel to other Owkin offices (quarterly to the European offices, one or two times a year for the US ones).
