Job Description

Owkin is looking for a Senior Partnership Manager to join its international Partnerships team. Based out of New York, your main mission will be to help grow Owkin’s partnerships with US academic players through AI research project collaborations.

This is a highly transversal role as when engaging with a new partner, it is your responsibility to engage and coordinate with internal and partner scientific, legal and IT teams.

This would be an ideal opportunity for a highly-motivated professional with experience in healthcare innovation and AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day to day engagement with our academic partners to develop long term collaborations
  • Identify academic researchers and institutes to explore potential collaborations
  • Actively participate in developing Owkin’s partnership development strategy, in close collaboration with the Pharma, R&D and Product teams
  • Act as the voice of our partners to identify opportunities to enhance existing products, and identify new potential product offerings
  • Interact with the R&D team to become a machine learning for biomedical data expert
  • Maintain academic partner account documentation
  • Coordinate with the rest of the commercial team to drive the sales strategy

Preferred Experience

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, biology, bioinformatics, biological engineering or similar) is mandatory
  • 4-8 years of experience in healthcare, working at or with biomedical academic institutions
  • Background in data science preferred
  • Experience in drug development and sales in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • Experience in a hospital/academic center innovation office is a plus
  • Ability to work in an international context
  • Must be willing to travel in the US for partnership meetings and conferences
  • Passionate about innovation, information technology and analytics
  • Strategic vision
  • Prioritizes and is able to juggle multiple work streams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
