Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales profile, with a strong scientific background in medical/biology/translational/clinical research, as well as a good understanding of how data science technologies can learn from patient data, leading to impactful biological discoveries.

Your Responsibilities and duties

  • Establish, nurture and grow client relationships (Pharma and Biotech) at the appropriate levels to allow setting and managing customer expectations and collaborate with company wide resources to achieve superior customer satisfaction, including elaborating, coordinating and leading internal and client presentations and meetings
  • Close high value and complex technology and/or service sales.
  • Forecast Opportunity Management and accurate pipeline, that includes elaborating and maintaining a prospection and account plan, in order to trigger, organize and host relevant and frequent client contacts and meetings, to develop relationships up to partnerships with key accounts
  • Play a significant role in product development, pricing, and defining the market positioning
  • Participate in the proposal scope development as appropriate.
  • Comply to the sales reporting framework and tools

Easy Travel capability
Willingness to travel, as the role will include visiting clients across the US with some travel to Europe for meetings and conferences, in accordance with the business needs.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Advanced pharmaceutical and healthcare industry knowledge: around 5+ years of commercial experience, or sales management, selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech section with direct interactions with mid-level and executive level decision makers.
  • Sales leadership, demonstration of client relationship management and retention skills as well as ability to acquire and grow client base
  • Proven sales success in closing high value and complex technology and/or consulting and/or service sales in the clinical development.
  • Ability to manage difficult client and/or financial situations
  • Ability to differentiate Owkin from competitors
  • Ability to develop strong working relationship with internal stakeholders and management leadership
  • Experience engaging with the translational, genomics and companion diagnostic environment would be a plus
  • Bringing to the table personal relevant pharmaceutical executives network would be a plus
